Job Details:
- Position: Patient Services Representative
- Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 / hr, depending on experience.
- Business Hours: Monday - Friday 4:45 am - 12:30pm.
- Schedule: FT, Monday - Friday: 4:45am - 12:30pm.
- Hiring Location: 1591 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505.
Qualifications:
- High school degree preferably with at least college enrollment if not a completed college degree; trustworthy.
- ability to be personable, respectful and non-judgmental to all patients and staff; computer literate.
- flexible and able to multi-task; good mathematical skills.
- Pass SLED background check.
Position Summary:
- Collect daily fees and copays from patients and enter the amounts into the computer.
- Print out receipts as they are requested.
- Complete insurance verifications
- Process grant applications.
- Balance daily accounts.
- Keep running total of monies collected.
- Process the daily financial reports.
- Balance the collected fees against the computer generated financial report.
- Assist in preparing the daily deposit slips.
- Responsible for reconciling the daily fees; this means the person who accepts this position is financially responsible for any daily shortages.
- Provide assistance in other areas as the need arises.
- Inform patients of flags and removal of flags as patients fulfill flag requests.
- Answering telephones.
- Complete administrative responsibilities.
