Qualifications:
- Current and Valid SC State Pharmacist License (PharmD or RPh).
Duties:
- Treatment Specialists provides comprehensive services to assist individuals who are dealing with opiate addiction or dependency.
- We combine counseling with medications to optimize success in treatment.
We are in need of a pharmacist at our Georgetown, SC clinic as the Pharmacist In Charge on site. Must be dependable and personable with attention to detail and good communication skills.
Position Summary:
- Maintain proper licensure to dispense narcotic treatment program medications pursuant to all regulatory bodies.
- Dispense the amounts of methadone and buprenorphine medication administered and shall record and countersign all changes in dosing schedules.
- Provide in-service training on pharmacology and methadone and will actively participate in all medical meetings.
- Provide respectful and confidential delivery of services, including education, quality care, instruction and information to all clients, with positive regard.
- Follow and adhere to all clinic policy and procedures and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
- Provide assistance in community education.
- Maintain daily and monthly, bi-annual and annual inventory schedules as dictated in accordance with all regulatory bodies.
